Our implantations are usually performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthetic and are painless. Alternatively, we also offer procedures under general anaesthetic. Procedure of the treatment

1. counselling and diagnosis

After a thorough examination and evaluation of the diagnostic documentation, your dentist will draw up a personalised treatment plan.

2. anaesthesia

As a rule, implantation is performed under local anaesthetic. For extensive procedures or on request, we offer treatment under general anaesthetic, performed by an experienced anaesthetist.

3. implantation

The implants are inserted into the jawbone in a minimally invasive procedure. The healing time is between 1 and 6 months.

4. exposure and prosthetic restoration

After healing, the implant is exposed and a space maintainer is inserted to keep the gums in shape. An impression is then taken and the dental prosthesis fabricated, which is then firmly attached to the implant.

Regular checks and hygiene

Regular follow-up examinations and professional cleaning are essential for the long-term success of your implants. We recommend a check-up twice a year and an x-ray every five years. Thorough oral hygiene at home is also crucial to avoid inflammation.
