Guarantee services in dentistry
As with all medical services, the diligence of dental work can be guaranteed, but not the success of the medical measures.
If the treating dentist breaches his duty of care, he or his liability insurance will be liable.
The limitation period is 10 years and begins from the completion of the treatment. The situation is different for dental workpieces. In legal terms, this is a contract for work and services and not an order between patient and dentist, as is the case for other treatment. The guarantee for a contract for work and labour is 1 year. This one-year guarantee applies to the contractual relationship between the dentist and dental technician.
Dental insurance in Switzerland: Protect your dental health
In Switzerland, it is possible to take out dental insurance in addition to basic insurance. There is a wide range of insurances on offer, but the conditions vary greatly.
It is advisable for children to take out dental insurance as early as possible, ideally before the age of 3. We recommend that you take advantage of this window of opportunity.
For adults, it is important that everything is in order before taking out dental insurance. If future treatment is expected, there is a possibility that the insurance company will reject the application.
Already have supplementary insurance?
Then you can simply send a copy to your insurance company after paying the dental bill. They will reimburse part of the costs.
Price policy of our dental practice
In our practice, we adhere to the official Swiss dental tariff negotiated between the Swiss Dental Association and the social insurance organisations.
Payment options:
- Advance payment for emergency patients only: CHF 250
- Other settlements via the settlement partners (MF Group)
- Payment by instalments etc. after consultation with ZAK
Missed appointments:
Please cancel appointments 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, you will be charged for the consultation.
Ombudsman's office
Our aim is to always work to your complete satisfaction. If this is not the case, please do not hesitate to contact us. If no solution can be found between the practitioner and the patient, it is possible to discuss the case with the practice's internal ombudsperson. The ombudsperson will assess the situation and will endeavour to find a satisfactory solution.
If there is no agreement here either, there is always the option of contacting the cantonal ombudsman's office.
